The Potomac Valley Irish Wolfhound Club (PVIWC) is a regional breed club dedicated to the health and welfare of the Irish Wolfhound. Our members live primarily in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. PVIWC is a very active club which hosts an annual AKC specialty and obedience show in the Spring, participates in educational activities and parades, rescues local wolfhounds in need of new homes, and sponsors a Fun Day in the Fall, to name a few of our regular functions.

Announcing our 2023 BACK-TO-BACK specialties, obedience and Rally trials will be April 1 - 3, 2022, same location (HCEC), in Bel Air MD! O/R Saturday, possibly CGC and straight racing. Judges will be Patty Newgard (sweeps, Sunday) and Debbie Tebbut (breed, Sunday), Jacqueline Keaton Carswell (breed, Monday) and Michael Mooney OB/Rally (Saturday).
