PVIWC Fun Match

The PVIWC Fun Match is a great place to learn about IWs in general, practice showing one (or more), socialize with other IW people, and have fun with your dog. We have activities for everyone, and it's all informal and relaxed. A great way to spend an afternoon!

When:	The second or third Sunday in September (September 21st in 2008 with judge Ce Hoffman, Blair IWs))
Where:	At the Bay Ridge Marina 80 East Lake Drive Annapolis, Maryland

Activities:

• a conformation match for puppies/juniors and adults (3 months and older, just for fun - no points are awarded) and a Champions class (for Champions of record; not eligible for Best in Match)
• fun classes like best head, best gait, best ears, best coat, coat which least meets the standard, longest tail, etc.
• games like dog-owner look alike, musical chairs, bobbing for apples and "find your dog"
• raffle of fabulous prizes
• PVIWC items for sale - like club apparel and mugs, as well as our very own cookbook
• and, of course, a potluck picnic, featuring items from the cookbook and other delicacies

Schedule and Fees:

• Entries begin at 11:00 am.
• Conformation begins at about 12:30.
• Conformation is followed by fun classes, games and the picnic.
• Fees are $5 per dog.

Directions: From I-95, take Route 50 east (or from the eastern shore, take Route 50 west) towards Annapolis. Take Exit 22 (exit only goes east) onto Route 665/Aris T. Allen Blvd. Route 665 becomes Forest Drive, then Bay Ridge Road. Proceed on this road until you enter the Bay Ridge community. You will see brick pillars on either side of the entrance that say Bay Ridge. Go about one block and take the first left hand turn (East Lake Drive). Bear right at the fork to stay on East Lake. The road then follows the lake. The club house is on the left side of the road. Signs will be posted.
